Prisons
21 October 2006 (12 Dec 2006) Joe Arpaio - A man who has some ideas on how to run prisons... There are about 80,000 people in british jails. The average cost of a prison place in 2002 was £38,753 per year. Am I missing something here? I thought these people were supposed to be paying us back? Prisons shouldn't cost the taxpayer a penny.
