The DR Manifesto...

Manifesto
I'm not standing for office. I'd be a shite politician, partly because I'm unpleasantly honest and partly because I hate wearing suits... If I wasn't, this is what I'd be campaigning on...

Errant Fathers
How can fathers be expected to 'take responsibility' for their kids when the law always presumes in favour of the mother? I got a reply - and here's my reply to that Welfare and Compensation Culture = No Legal Responsibility

Road Pricing
Tony Blair and the entire Labour Government are cretins... Road pricing has to be the most hare-brained scheme ever - devised by the evil cretinous muppets from hell - the Politicians...

Why Road Pricing Is A Stupid Idea

  • It will not reduce congestion, in the long run, one bit!
  • Current setup cost (est) £63Bn
  • Current running cost (est) £9Bn/yr
  • Put these words together into a well-known phrase or sentence:
'Infringement Massive Rights Civil Intrusive Its A of'
  • Can you guess the missing word?
'Blair and Brown: What a Pair of C****'

Road Pricing Is A Stupid Idea

It's incredible... Yeah, ok, I've had a few tonight, and I signed the petition. I'm well steamed about this whole debacle...

I watched a TV debate about Road Pricing (RP) tonight. I'd bet a grand of my kids college fund that none of them had an IQ over 130...

Road Pricing Will Not Cut Congestion Significantly

You can quote me on this. Significantly means - 'it makes a damn of difference'. It won't. Not in the long run...

Just like in London - the 'Congestion Charge' will make the roads clearer for a few months, until people get used to the new tax... Then they'll just pay it and things will be back to normal - except the Treasury will be that much flusher...

The Nanny State Becomes The Stalker State...

Not only that, but to make the whole thing work - your Nanny, nay Stalker State will be tracking just exactly where you go, and when, and they will share that information with absolutely anyone who will give them a blowjob...

Be under no illusions. They will use whatever info thay can gather to fuck you over - probably for more tax...

It is true that a politician's imagination is one of the most wonderful things in Gods multiverse... Where the imagination of the musician or artist lifts us to love with inspiration, the imagination of the politician subjects us to a life of shit in glorification of their magnanimous mastery of bullshit...

How could anyone propose such a stupid idea? It's at least as stupid as ID cards...
Oh yeah... Tony 'Iraq is going just fine' Blair

Arsehole!

I can give you three damn good reasons why road pricing is a terrible solution to congestion:

  1. It won't cut congestion in the long term
  2. It will cost more than putting free state-of-the-art leisure centers with multiple-pools, tube-slides, saunas, solariums etc. etc. in every single town in the country
  3. It will be a ma-hoosive intrusion into everyone's privacy...
  4. ...and that information - have no doubt - will be used for nefarious purposes by the evil henchmen of Satan that occupy Whitehall... They will find ways to fuck you over you hadn't even dreamed of...

Ok, FOUR reasons. It wasn't difficult.

...You mark my words sonny. I haven't seen two world wars and lived without picking up a bit of wisdom here and there... Career politicians are bad through and through. They're like vermin. They should be stripped of their pensions and made to get a proper job - like you and I have to...

GPS = Owned By The USA: 'No guarantee of accuracy or service...'

How's that going to work then?

Seeing as GPS is owned and operated by the US military, and they specifically warn that it offers no guarantee of service or accuracy...

That's why europe was building it's own bunch of satellites - whatever it was called - 'euroscat' or whatever... They called it off - probably because they couldn't be bothered and thought the USA would just let us use GPS anyway...

Here are some policies which will cut congestion!

  • Build business estates next to residential estates. (Current planning laws 'zone' these activities miles apart) D'uh!!!
  • Offer tax breaks to companies offering flexible working hours...
  • ...Offer bigger tax-breaks to companies allowing employees to work from home.
  • Have a decent public-transport system!
  • Make it easier for people to be self-employed - i.e. less regulation and less tax.
  • Park and rides all around cities, not just on one place so you have to drive all the way around...
  • Have train stations in rural areas - with big car parks - so you don't have to go into the town to get the train.
  • If There Is STILL Congestion - Build More Damn Roads!

Do ya see any exploiticians suggesting tax-breaks, hmmm? Do ya? No, cos they are addicted to your tax money. They are tax junkies - the biggest addicts of them all... Wa-Hankers, 'scuse me I've got a cold...
