Since nine-eleven and the 'The War On Terror' we've all had to change the way we look at the world... It's a good job that our illustrious leaders Bush and Blair have run this It has been a meticulously designed, and skilfully crafted plan, executed by professionals... And my arse is a biscuit. What a bloody stupid idea invading Iraq wasClearly bombing and shooting lots of innocent muslims was the best way to get them on side... Oh yes.
If you'd wanted to encourage more terrorism, but not overtly of course, then the war on terror would have been been a brilliant plan. I'm not saying that's really what it was all about... Not enough real enemies to justify all the 'intelligence' agencies, the military, and the arms industry, y'know that sort of thing... I wouldn't be saying that. Still, it did rather nicely ensure the future of the 'intelligence' agencies, the military, and the arms industry. Coincidentally. By joining the USA in being really out-of-order to lots of Iraqi folk, we've ensured an endless supply of understandably irate, poorly educated, 'freedom-fighters' / 'terrorists' / 'illegal combatants' to fight for decades to come... Which is great in terms of the long-term market for weapons and accessories.
God told me to do itGeorge Bush told us that invading Afghanistan and Iraq was the will of God - so he believed... I personally find that very comforting. Just as I'm sure the Afghani & Iraqi people do. And not a bit insulting to anyone elses religion either. George Bush, Statesman, Master Tactician, Diplomat... Everyone knows George Dubya Bush is Satan. It's common knowlege.
Er, Bush told me to do itTony Blair, you completely gormless twat. Do you not know about the USA's history of unjust slaughters in foreign lands? Perhaps you should see Bowling For Columbine to mention just one (excellent) film - it might give you a better idea of who you're sending our troops in with - and for what. CommentsThis is a sporadically moderated blog. I am not responsible for anything below! Cry Havoc!It\'s worth noting that since the 2003 invasion 2,974 US troops have been killed (these figures are for Iraq only) and only 126 British troops have perished in the same time. Imagine how many more would be around today had they been properly equiped or, better yet, NOT sent all the way to the far east so that El Presidente and his cabal of Christian fundamentalists could wage their crusade against the Mohammedans and nick a little oil into the bargain.
